Orlando, FL (June 17, 2021) – At 1:51 p.m. on the afternoon of Thursday, June 17, a car accident with injuries occurred in Orlando.
According to Orange County officials, the accident happened in the eastbound lanes of FL-50 around the area of Oberry Hoover Road. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided due to unknown reasons. The vehicles involved in the accident were extensively damaged due to the crash.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries, though their conditions are not yet known.
Due to the severity of the crash, all lanes of traffic were blocked in the area for some time.
The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues.
