Orlando, FL – Car Accident on FL-528 Near Tradeport Dr

Orlando, FL (July 3, 2021) – At 9:37 a.m. on the morning of Saturday, July 3, a car accident with injuries occurred on a highway in Orlando.

According to Orange County officials, the accident happened in the westbound lanes of FL-528 around the area of exit 9, Tradeport Drive. Several vehicles were traveling in the area on the highway when they collided with each other due to reasons that are not yet known. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged as a result.

Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those with injuries. One or more victims, who have not yet been identified, were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries. Their conditions are not known at this time.

Two right lanes of traffic were blocked in the area for an extended period of time as police cleared the scene.

The investigation into the circumstances of the collision continues.
