Boca Raton, FL (May 9, 2021) – Around 8:00 p.m. on Sunday evening, May 9, a car crash that resulted in serious injuries was reported at an intersection in Boca Raton.
According to Boca Raton Police and Lauderhill Police, several people, including a young teenager, were hospitalized after the crash, which occurred in Lauderhill.
Initial reports stated that a black Infinity driving eastbound on Sunrise Boulevard hit a silver Nissan that was making a turn at the intersection of Northwest 34th Avenue and Sunrise. A young teenage boy was transported to Broward Health Medical Center in Fort Lauderdale via ambulance in serious condition. Three other passengers were taken to area hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries.
The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues, and further details on the events leading up to the wreck have not been released.
