Parkland, FL (February 27, 2021) – Around 11:24 a.m. on Saturday morning, February 27, a car accident with injuries occurred on a highway in Parkland.
According to Broward County officials, the accident took place in the southbound lanes of Sawgrass Expressway around the area of US-441. Multiple vehicles collided in the area after one or more lost control. This led to extensive damages.
Paramedics and numerous other local responders helped those in need at the scene. The injured victims were taken to the hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
The off-ramp was closed in the area for some time as police cleared the scene.
No further details have been released but the investigation continues.
