Delray Beach, FL – Two Injured in Car Crash at Congress Ave & 10th St

Delray Beach, FL (June 14, 2021) – On Saturday night, June 12, a serious car crash with injuries occurred in Delray Beach.

According to police, the accident happened at the intersection of Congress Avenue and 10th Street. The driver of a Hyundai was headed north while the driver of a Mercedes was headed south. The two vehicles suddenly collided with each other after entering the intersection. The vehicles involved in the accident were so extensively damaged that pieces of debris were left scattered all over the roadway.

Paramedics and numerous other responders were called to the scene. Both drivers of the vehicles, who have not yet been identified, were taken to local hospitals for treatment of serious injuries. Their current conditions are not yet known.

Due to the severity of the crash, the roadway was blocked at the intersection for several hours.

The investigation into the circumstances of the collision continues.
