Orlando, FL – One Killed in Fatal Pedestrian Accident on Alafaya Trl

Orlando, FL (June 6, 2021) – On Saturday night, June 5, one person was killed in a fatal pedestrian accident in Orlando.

According to officials, the accident happened on the Alafaya Trail near the area of Ashton Manor Way. A 24-year-old male pedestrian started crossing the street and was struck by a passenger vehicle traveling in the area.

Paramedics and numerous other local responders were dispatched to the scene. The pedestrian was taken to the hospital with traumatic injuries and passed away while there.

The 25-year-old driver of the passenger vehicle was not injured and remained at the scene of the crash.

No further details have been released but the investigation remains ongoing.
