Cocoa, FL – Pedestrian Accident at S Cocoa Blvd & Orange St

Cocoa, FL (May 17, 2021) – On Monday afternoon, May 17, a pedestrian accident with injuries occurred at an intersection in Cocoa.

According to authorities, the accident took place on South Cocoa Boulevard around the area of Orange Street. A black sedan was traveling in the area when it suddenly struck a pedestrian walking in the area. The vehicle was left with extensive front-end damage.

Paramedics and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. The pedestrian, who has not yet been identified, was hospitalized with unknown injuries.

The roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time.

No further details have been released but the investigation continues.
