Winter Park, FL – Car Accident on FL-400 Near Fairbanks Ave

Winter Park, FL (May 12, 2021) – At 8:18 a.m. on the morning of Wednesday, May 12, a serious car accident with injuries occurred in Winter Park.

According to Orange County officials, the accident happened in the westbound lanes of FL-400 around the area of Fairbanks Avenue. Several vehicles were traveling in the area when they were involved in a collision due to reasons that are not yet known. The vehicles were all left with extensive damages.

Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene to help those with injuries. One or more victims were hospitalized as a result of their injuries.

The right lane of traffic was blocked in the area for an extended period of time.

No further details have been released but the investigation remains ongoing.
